Brief Biography Of Ibn Rajab
He was the imam, the hafidh, the great scholar Zaynuddin `Abdur-Rahman ibn Ahmad ibn `Abdir-Rahman – known as Rajab as-Salami, then ad-Dimashqi (from Damascus) – well known as Ibn Rajab.
He was born in the year 736H.
His teachers included: Muhammad ibn Khabbaz, Ibrahim ibn Dawood al-`Attar and Muhammad ibn al-Qalanisi and others.
